Praline

Cosmic

Monsoon Cosmic dinnerware Collection blends together the exotic with a western bohemian style and influence. Using a stunning contemporary interpretation of paisley print in a deep blue, teal, mauve and lime with soft metallic highlights on fine soft cream china.

Grace

Inspired by the 30's and 40's art deco designs the shapes in this pattern tend to move like waves or drifts os snow while maintaining an elegant poise. With its asymmetrical design it maintains a casual friendliness about them that exudes a 'hand thrown' feel.

Halo

Halo is Denby's latest offering on Stoneware decorated with reactive glazes create a truly unique graduated effect. The dual black and blue shading combines traditional studio pottery techniques and contemporary elements creating pieces that are one of a kind. Halo is oven, dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe.

Monsoon Home

Known for its feminine and exclusive eclectic designs, Monsoon's Dinnerware Collection blends together the exotic allure of eastern color and prints with a western bohemian style and influence.

Combined with Denby's expertise and manufacturing ceramics for over 200 years, the Dinnerware Collection is stylish, practical and durable. So much so, the entire range can be used in the oven, dishwasher, microwave and freezer.

The stunning Dinnerware Collection features four exclusive designs, all beautifully crafted in fine china.

LUCILLE GOLD

A 1950's lace panel inspired Lucille Gold, an elegant collection of shimmering, delicate gold on fine, soft cream china.

LUCILLE TEAL

Drawing inspiration from 1950's lace, Lucille Teal is a decorative and charming collection of silver and teal on fine, soft cream china.

CHRYSANTHEMUM

Influenced by a bold 19th century Japanese textile floral print, Chrysanthemum is a striking collection of charcoal and gold on fine, soft cream china.

VERONICA

A contemporary take on traditional floral designs,Veronica fuses together bold and delicate florals in a beautiful collection of blue, charcoal and teal on fine, soft cream

Each Dinnerware Collection contains dinner plates, salad plates, soup/cereal bowls and mugs; a tea set of teapot, teacups and saucers, jug and covered sugar bowl; with additional pieces including pasta and serving bowls and a round platter.

Winter 2009 launches

Amethyst

Amethystis Denby's latest pattern to debut on the modern 'Helium' shape and will be the first one to be decorated. This shape features softer and more contemporary lines while maintaining that friendly and relaxed feeling for which Denby is known.

A high shine purple gloss glaze resembles that of an amethyst which was the inspiration behind this classy pattern. The solid purple elements provide a rich, textural backdrop for wide bands of color. The accent Amethyst Stone reflects both the background stone color and encompasses gem-like purple dots creating a unique opportunity to mix and match.

The placesetting pieces show off both the color and the accent by utilizing the wide band of 'Helium' dinner plate while the accessory pieces are able stand on their own with the combination of high gloss glaze on this truly distinctive shape. Just like every item in the Denby line these pieces are oven, freezer, dishwasher and microwave safe.

Fall 2009 Launches

Jet Skyline

Jet is Denby's most popular pattern offering universal appeal and continues to be as on-trend as it was at launch. To further enhance Jet's appeal, Denby introduced Jet Skline at the New York Tabletop Show.

Jet Skyline is sleek in style and has a very urban feel. It follows the trend for futuristic and geometric patterns with angular shapes in varying colors. The matte glaze gives a contemporary feel, while the gloss highlights add impact and drama. This combination allows Skyline to easily mix into the existing Jet Collection.

Reminiscent of a city's night skyline, the pattern's flecks of color decorate the black glaze of 12 key pieces - dinner, salad, teaplate, soup bowl, rice bowl, teacup, large mug, teapot, sugar, creamer, round platter, and serving bowl.

Skyline is an evolution for Jet and is in stock and ready to ship.

Spring 2009 launches

Sienna

Two of Denby’s most recent launches, Truffle and Mist on the ‘Nest’ shape have proven to be a hit! New for Spring, Denby will be launching the latest pattern on the Nest shape - Sienna, the boldest pattern yet on this shape.

This striking new range features a rich matte brown glaze that is contrasted with muted blue and bright turquoise high gloss glazes. The decorated pieces bring these colors together beautifully through the use of the ‘Ellipse’ pattern. This featured accent gives a sense of movement and fluidity while relaxing with that “Sienna” feeling of being on holiday.

As with all Denby ranges, the new Sienna pattern has been designed with food and drink in mind and offers a full line of placesetting and accessory components, including Denby’s oversized Gourmet items: gourmet bowl, noodle bowl, rice bowl and pasta bowl.

Just like every item in the Denby line these pieces are oven, freezer, dishwasher and microwave safe.

Autumn 2008 launches

Natural Pearl

The launch of Pure Green, was not only on a new fantastic shape, but also started the next generation of Denby ‘Classics.’ The next pattern in this updated family and a part of the Denby bicentenary celebration story will be Natural Pearl. This pattern reflects the ‘neutral’ feeling prevalent in today’s homes and fits nicely with the natural, organic feel of Pure Green.

The lustrous, pearlescent glaze gives Natural Pearl a rich look. The soft, curvy shape of this pattern is highlighted in the teapot and combined with the translucent glaze it is reflective of true Pearl. The cozy, comfortable feel of this pattern is sophisticated enough for high tea and also relaxed for casual dining.

The pieces that are offered in Pure Green will also be available in Natural Pearl: all placesetting and accessory components, including Denby’s oversized Gourmet items. And just like every item in the Denby line these pieces are oven, freezer, dishwasher and microwave safe.

China Squares

Denby experienced much success with the launch of its first bone china line, China by Denby, in 2005. Now a perfect compliment to this pattern is available, China Squares, an opportunity to be different but still retain the simplicity of China.

China Squares offers a contemporary twist that refreshes the range while keeping its geometric lines and soft curved edges. The square shape works well with the organic shape of the current range but is equally comfortable as a stand alone range. Offered in a dinner plate, salad plate, soup/cereal bowl, bread & butter plate and tea saucer, China Squares has a universal appeal.

Bone china is the most durable of all dinnerware and just like every item in the Denby line these pieces are freezer, dishwasher, microwave safe and can be used in the oven to reheat.

Denby Celebrates 200 Years!

In 2009 Denby celebrates 200 years of producing pottery in Derbyshire, England. Renowned for its quality and durability Denby’s products have evolved to meet the ever changing needs of customers. In the beginning Denby produced all manners of ceramic items from ink bottles, hot water bottles and fine artware pieces to the well known dinnerware found in stores today.

Denby has a fascinating history which is being celebrated by the launch of two new patterns. Pure Green and Natural Pearl, Denby’s offfical bicentenary patterns offer a new contemporary line both in terms of colors and shape.

And for 2009 only there will be nine limited edition pieces in the form of mini One Cup Teapots and extra large One Pint Mugs to celebrate in style!

Not only will Denby collectors love the mini teapots, but these make an ideal gift for anyone. All the teapots will be beautifully boxed and since they are in limited production a numbered certificate of authenticity will be included. Denby’s current mugs are by no means small but sometimes you just can’t get enough. Limited production One Pint Mugs will also be available for this special year.

Spring 2008 launches

Azure Shell and Caramel Plaid

The Azure pattern has shown continued growth over its 2+ year history with consumers. To bolster growth, Denby presents a new accent to the line this Spring – Azure Shell!

Comprised of the main placesetting components – dinner, salad, soup/cereal and mug – Azure Shell brings another level of interest and excitement to this already popular pattern. With deep textures incorporating shapes of blue, turquoise and cream, this new addition offers an unusual alternative to the existing Coast accent.

Likewise, Denby will add a new mug in a bold tartan to the Caramel collection – Caramel Plaid. This clean take on the traditional Scottish fabric uses the palette in Caramel Stripes to create an authentic and compatible piece within the line.

Pure Green

The current Denby Classic range was launched nearly 20 years ago with Regency Green and Imperial Blue. The continued world-wide popularity of these collections is a testament to the consumer’s desires for simple, traditional, clean looking patterns. In order to address this niche, but remain relevant, Denby is embarking the next generation of the classic pattern on a new shape. Pure Green was presented this past spring as the first in a line of updated classic patterns on the ‘Helium’ shape which features softer and more contemporary shapes and colors.

The translucent layers of glaze in Pure Green reflect the lush new growth of gardens and forests. This combined with the updated globe contour of the teapot and creamer evoke a natural, organic feel. The name itself hints at a collection that is very clean and wholesome overall. Pure Green has a full line of placesetting and accessory components, including the Gourmet items now found in the current Denby lines: the gourmet bowl, noodle bowl, rice bowl and pasta bowl.
